Crude oil after well head needs to be transferred further for removing impurities to make it suitable for refinery dispatch.
Since Crude oil can have different characteristics e.g. thin to heavy, corrosive, with or without water hence pump selection needs to be done carefully to ensure
- Pump can handle different variation in the well head pressure.
- Pump can handle negative suction.
- Pump can handle different viscosities.
- Pump can handle oil+ water without creating emulsion.
- Shall require low maintenance.
MES Pumps and System offer PC Pump for crude oil transfer and Stator elastomer is selected to match the characteristics of the crude oil, variation in viscosity without cavitation or loss of performance, impurities in form of sand is being handled well.

- Horizontal design with or without augur for most of standard transfer.
- Horizontal Pump with Low NPSHR applications e.g. KO drum or low vapor pressure liquid applications. s
- Standard vertical sump pump for crude oil transfer from the pit.
- Vertical pump design for Closed/ Open Drain application.
